ANOTHER Salisbury Nutcracker vandalised

Noel has had his arm ripped off, the second to be damaged in a week - with another STOLEN earlier this month.

The Bridge Street Nutcracker has been left armless after an overnight hit last week.

Sometime between 6pm on Thursday (13th December) and Friday morning at 8am, his arm was ripped off.

Police are currently investigating the criminal damage and are looking through CCTV which covers that area of Bridge Street.

NOT THE FIRST INCIDENT OF NUTCRACKER DAMAGE IN SALISBURY

Gabriel the Nutcracker, who has been standing proud at the entrance to the Market Walk, was targeted.

His staff had been taken over the weekend of the 8th December, leaving him empty handed.

The six foot tall characters were set up in the city, as a fun initiative for families to enjoy.

The idea is to follow the trail and collect their names.

Salisbury BID, who set up the trail, told Spire FM that CCTV was passed onto police.

On the 4th December Carol, the Nutcracker on St John Street, was stolen completely.

We're told there's still no further information on his whereabouts.
