CCTV: Man threatened at knife point in Amesbury

The suspect started shouting and swearing at the victim, before pulling out the weapon.

On Wednesday morning (16th January), at around 2am, a 25-year-old man was approached by another man.

It happened in the car park of TJ Morris distribution centre in Meridian Way in Amesbury.

The suspect made threats to the victim before pulling out a knife, whilst shouting and swearing at him.

He is believed to be known to the victim.

PC Thomas Newman said:

"While this was a scary experience for the victim, we believe this was an isolated incident and we'd like to reassure the public that we are carrying out a thorough investigation.

"Our enquiries are ongoing and we have released a CCTV image of a man we would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

"Do you recognise him? He is described as white, approximately 6 ft 4 inches tall, and aged in his late 30s.

"He was of slender build and had black curly hair and dark eyes."
