As well as supporting Salisbury District Hospital's charity, the team's also handed over stationery for Chinese children too.

The trekkers arrived in Asia at the weekend, and after a day of briefings and acclimatisation, they're now setting off on their challenge to walk the Great Wall of China.

They've collectively raised more than £100,000 for the Stars Appeal - but they've also been supporting some local young people too.

The team members were asked to donate just a few pounds each to go towards some stationery products.

£200 worth of pens, pencils, notebook and more items were taken to China by the group, having got it all from the Wiltshire Scrapstore at Wilton.

They've now been handed over to a local school for the children there to make use of.

The trekkers' tour guide, Alan, explains exactly where that equipment will go:

The Great Wall of China trek itself will see the team take on 70 kilometres of one of the modern wonders of the world.

We've been getting updates from them throughout the trip, on their blog.
