Unusual appeal about collision in Laverstock 40yrs ago

Investigation into 'serious crash' dating back to the late 1970's or early 80's involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.

We need you to cast your minds back to help with this one.

Police in Salisbury have issued an appeal for information about an historic collision said to have happened in Laverstock, but it was a long time ago.

Officers have been given information about a serious collision in the area of Duck Lane.

The collision is reported to have occurred in the late 1970's / early 1980's between a pedestrian and a vehicle.

SCANT DETAILS ABOUT COLLISION

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police has said:

"At this stage it would be inappropriate for us to provide any further information. We would like to hear from anyone who was living in the area at the time and recalls such an incident."
