Light aircraft crash lands near Fordingbridge

The single-seater plane came down at a popular walking spot in the New Forest this morning (19th May).

Emergency services were called to Deadman Hill off Roger Penny Way.

It was a lucky escape for the pilot who appeared unhurt in the incident with Hampshire Fire and Rescue posting on social media "all safe and well".

Fire-fighters from Fordingbridge were among four crews sent to the scene .

The plane involved, a Team Mini-Max, is registered to an address in Poole.
