Published by Faye Tryhorn at 5:05pm 22nd May 2019.

Visiting is being restricted to Pitton Ward at the Odstock site, following an infection outbreak.

A highly contagious stomach bug's been reported on the ward at SDH, which is causing diarrhoea and vomiting for patients.

As a result, the NHS Foundation Trust is asking for out help to prevent the spread of the illness further into the community.

They've said visiting to Pitton ward is restricted to close family and friends only.
