The man who died in a collision on the A303 near Amesbury earlier this week has been formally identified.

Garry James Humphryes, who was 56 and from Amesbury, died following a single-vehicle road traffic collision on the A303 on Tuesday (4 June 2019).

A file is now being prepared for HM Coroner and Police have said "our thoughts are with his family at this very sad time".

POLICE INVESTIGATION

An investigation into the collision is currently ongoing.

A lorry driver called Wiltshire Police on the afternoon of 4th June to report a vehicle down a bank.
