Man threatened at knife-point in Salisbury

Police are investigating an attempted robbery at Millstream Approach on Saturday night (9th June).

The victim, a 48 year old local man, was crossing the Coach Station car park around 9.40pm when he was approached from behind by a male.

The man threatened him with a knife and demanded that he hand over his wallet and phone.

Police say the victim refused to hand anything over and the suspect made off in the direction of Tesco.


  • White,
  • Chubby build,
  • Approximately 23-25 years old,
  • Short dark hair and a stubble beard.
  • Wearing blue jeans and a white England football shirt.

Acting Detective Sergeant Rachel Winter said:

"Officers attended the scene following the initial 999 call and understandably the victim was left feeling very shaken up. Our enquiries are continuing today.

"Did you see an individual matching this description in the area on Sunday evening?

"Any information you have could be significant in our investigation to help identify the suspect."
