SALISBURY AFD: Warning NOT to sell tickets

SALISBURY AFD: Warning NOT to sell tickets

Published by The Spire FM News Team at 7:24am 26th June 2019.

Wiltshire Council say anyone found buying or selling tickets will have theirs cancelled and refused entry.

Organisers say they've had reports of people selling Saturday (29th June) tickets on Facebook.

People were allowed to get up to six FREE tickets for each day but Saturday quickly sold out after the announcement the Kaiser Chiefs were to headline.

A Wiltshire Council spokesperson said:

"We’re disappointed that people would choose to sell tickets for this free event, which is an opportunity to support our troops for all the work they do for us.

"Please do not attempt to buy or sell tickets to Armed Forces Day National Event in Salisbury, as anyone found doing so will have their tickets cancelled and will be refused entry."

The council is urging anyone who has tickets they no longer need to return them so they can be released to people who want to attend.

All the tickets for Saturday have been allocated but If you're still trying to get one the advice is to keep checking the Salisbury AFD social media channels for any release of returned tickets.

Free tickets are still available on our website for the Friday and Sunday and you can get those here.
