Salisbury man releases second book about mental health

Following the success of his first book, Lewis Jefferies is releasing another to share the details of how he overcame his struggles.

On his decision to write ‘Mental Health and Me: How I Won’ , Lewis said:

“The first one explained what I went through and how I was going to win, and the second one explains how I won.”

He hopes that his words can help others struggling with mental illness.

“I think it’s very important especially in males because it’s not talked about enough.”

“After the first one I had quite a few people messaging me saying this really helped me, and I’m really glad I read this and you published this. Getting that into the second one means people can look forward to seeing how I won and how that can impact them, and how they can beat their own mental health.”

The first of his books proved really successful, prompting Lewis to put pen to paper again.

The proceeds of the book will be donated to local charities.

Lewis has chosen CALM, or Campaign Against Living Miserably - a male suicide charity.

He’s also backing the Stars Appeal, which raises money for Salisbury District Hospital.
