iPads were among the items taken from the village school in the burglary.

The school off the A36 had to close for the day (10th July) following the break-in overnight which caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage including broken windows.

Hampshire Police say the investigation is ongoing.

A Just Giving Page has been launched to raise £1,500 to replace the iPads and cover the repairs.

Head of School Bethan Larcombe is now reaching out to parents and the further community to help.

"We also need to further upgrade our CCTV systems on the site to cover a wider area. Obviously, this comes at a hefty price at a time when school budgets are already under tremendous pressure just to afford day to day costs."

It's the second break-in the school, which caters for 200 pupils, has suffered:

The school had a safe and iPads stolen in 2017 as well, with the local community helping to raise the money needed to replace them at the time.
