Kevin Richards is hoping to complete a 100 kilometre run in aid of the Stars Appeal.

He'll set off on his Race to the Stones challenge tomorrow morning (Saturday July 13th).

The route takes him from Oxfordshire, along the famous Ridgeway, and ends back in Wiltshire at Avebury, with an overnight break halfway.

Kevin's raising money for the Stars Appeal's End of Life Care team.

That's because his sister Alison is a sister at Salisbury District Hospital, working on the service.

Kevin's hoping to complete the run in 12 to 14 hours.

He's posted on his JustGiving page that the Race to the Stones 'requires a lot of training and (he'd) love to turn (his) efforts into a positive reward'.

The fundraising target he's set himself for the Stars Appeal is £500, and he's just over that target before setting off.
