Man charged after Salisbury supermarket crime spree

The offences at the same city centre store relate to a nine day period.

Kane Hurkett of Rollestone Street in Salisbury has been charged with three thefts and two Section 4 public order offences.

All of them happened at Iceland in Castle Street, within the space of 9 days.

The 31 year old is charged with the following:

  • Section 4 public order offence at Iceland, on Sunday 7 July, six bottles of alcohol were stolen
  • Theft of two bottles of alcohol and crisps at Iceland on Monday 8 July
  • Section 4 public order offence at Iceland on Tuesday 9 July, three bottles of alcohol and chocolate stolen
  • Theft from Iceland on Sunday 14 July, four bottles of alcohol stolen
  • Theft from Iceland on Monday 15 July, alcohol stolen

He appeared at Swindon Magistrates Court today and pleaded guilty.

He's been bailed until July 30th.
