Police investigating a blaze in Harnham are looking to trace two teenage boys as they could have information.

The fire at Harnham Sports and Social Club in Parsonage Green caused extensive damage when it happened back in May.

It only partly re-opened last Friday (July 19th), with the function room still closed due to the ongoing repairs.

Fire investigators confirmed that the blaze had been started deliberately and now police are working to catch those responsible.

CCTV RELEASED:

The images given to us by Wiltshire officers show two people walking along Netherhampton Road, near the One Stop shop, just after the fire.

Detective Constable Toni Nugent, from Salisbury CID, said:

"Our investigation has been ongoing since the fire was confirmed as arson, and we are now in a position to release CCTV to see if the public can assist us.

"We know this isn't the clearest, but we are hoping that it might jog someone's memory.

"We believe the picture shows two boys, one shorter than the other, and one of them is carrying a backpack.

"We know the fire happened a few months ago now, but if people could cast their minds back and think about whether they saw anyone acting suspiciously, or if this image reminds you of two people you know who could have been involved, then please let us know."
