Amesbury shop targeted in change fraud

A suspect tried to exchange notes and confused the cashier into handing over money.

This theft happened at the McColls store in Salisbury Street on Saturday July 13th.

A man went into the store just before 2.00pm and asked the shop assistant to change some notes.

He managed to get away with an extra £250.

Wiltshire Police have now given us an image of a man they'd like to speak to in connection with the theft


They'd like to identify the man pictured, as he might have information about what happened.
