The new Prime Minister has been choosing his top team and there are some changes for our Members of Parliament.

Salisbury Plain MP Claire Perry has been given a new job alongside the Government.

She's been named as the COP26 President:

Claire was previously the Energy Minister, but took a leave of absence last month to care for a sick relative.

She's tweeted to say it's 'been a privilege to work' in that department.

Her new role will see her leading the UK's co-hosting duties for a major UN Climate Change summit next year.

Salisbury's John Glen is waiting to hear what, if any, role he may be asked to fulfill under Boris Johnson. John had previously served as Economic Secretary to the Treasury and City Minister

He's congratulated the new PM on his appointment:

Caroline Nokes, who represents parts of the Test Valley, has left her job as the Immigration Minister, but will continue as an MP:

South West Wiltshire MP, Dr Andrew Murrison, has been Minister of State for International Development for the last year and is hoping to stay in that post.

He's given his full backing to Boris Johnson since the start of the leadership campaign:
