A man, who is aged in his 20s, was arrested on suspicion of fraud by false representation and is currently in custody in Melksham for further questioning.

Sgt Steve Jolley said:

"When we attended this address we found what can only be described as an Aladdin's Cave of counterfeit goods.

The amount was so vast that it took two fully loaded police cars to remove it all from the address.

I'd like to remind people of the saying 'if it seems too good to be, true it probably is' - goods like this that are sold on our streets may at first appear to be a bargain, but they are often untested, unregulated and can be unsafe."
