The caravans arrived at some point on Thursday (August 15th).

There are around 12 of them, along with as many vehicles, at the Britford park and ride site at the moment.

The entrance to the site does have a height barrier, to try and prevent taller vehicles from entering,

But there's no barrier at the exit, giving the caravans enough room to get in.

The only height barrier is over the entry to the Britford Park and Ride site.

Wiltshire Police have been made aware of their occupancy there and say they're monitoring the situation.

Britford park and ride backs onto the existing Oak Tree Field travellers site.

The land is owned by Wiltshire Council and they've told Spire FM News that they've applied for an order asking the group to move on by Monday (August 19th).
