It's probably not as much as one being sold in a New York auction!

American photographer Richard Misrach's image of Stone 16 is going to be sold at an auction in the Big Apple and is estimated to be worth between $12,000 and $18,000, around £9,500 to £14,500

The picture was taken in 1976 and is black and white with the stone bright in the foreground of the image while some of Stonehenge can be seen in the background.

It's part of Swann Auction Galleries Classic & Contemporary Photographs sale on October 17th.

Richard Misrach was born in 1949 in Los Angeles and first began taking pictures in 1967.

According to the Fraenkel Gallery, Misrach is one of the most influential photographers of his generation.

In the 1970s, he helped pioneer the renaissance of colour photography and large-scale presentation that are in widespread practice today.
