If you're having problems contacting the hospital it's because the main switchboard isn't receiving external calls.

Hospital bosses say they're "working hard with suppliers to urgently resolve the issue".

Some of the hospital’s direct dial numbers are unaffected by the issues.

Emergency mobile phones have been given to the teams in some key clinical areas within the hospital.

They're available for the public to leave messages.

Patients and members of the public are asked to avoid contacting the hospital for non-urgent queries whilst the issues are being resolved.

Further updates will follow.
