A window was damaged at a property in Moot Gardens. around 9pm on Saturday (14th September).

It's understood the residents were elderly.

Wiltshire Police carried out proactive patrols in the area and stopped three boys, aged 12 and 13, as well as seizing three catapults and bags of ball bearings

The boys were given strong words of advice and officers have spoken to their parents.

Over the last few weeks the village has been plagued with anti-social behaviour and Wiltshire Police have told Spire FM they are doing all they can to tackle this.

"We are aware of concerns in the Downton area about anti-social behaviour involving children and teenagers and we are carrying out extensive work to try to tackle this, including increased visibility patrols.
We would urge anyone who has concerns about anti-social behaviour to call us on 101, or 999 in an emergency."
