It comes after the third report of similar incidents in three days involving children.

Wiltshire Police say they are investigating a report from Monday night (16th September) where a 14 year old boy reportedly had his waist grabbed by a man in a van in Holders Road, Amesbury

Two similar reports were made on Saturday night, one on the same road in Amesbury and one in Bishopdown.

The force will now have an increase in police patrols in the areas and they say that several officers are conducting enquiries.

They are also stressing that images of the vehicles in question should NOT be shared unless they have come from an official police account.

Acting Inspector Lucy Thorne, of Amesbury Community Policing Team, said:

"We are aware that two similar incidents have been reported in the area in the last four days that are of a similar nature, however at this time we cannot say that these incidents are linked until further investigation."

Police are asking anyone with information should call 101
