Families and children invited to get up close and personal at a FREE event run by Wiltshire Wildlife Trust.

The event's sponsored by Wessex Water, who are celebrating 20 years of a joint project with WWT and others to restore Wiltshire's chalk streams.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THIS EVENT?

The WWT's annual event is an open-air show, and will feature a range of family-friendly, wildlife-inspired activities such as animal face-painting, basket-weaving, and pole-lathing.

There's also a fantastic chance to see sheep, birds of prey, and bees up close and learn more about them.

The event will showcase Wiltshire's amazing wildlife and what WWT does to restore habitats and protect animal and plant species.

IMPORTANT TO LEARN ABOUT WILTSHIRE'S WILDLIFE

Exhibits will showcase Wiltshire's amazing but threatened wildlife and the work that WWT does to restore habitats and protect animal and plant species. Experts will also be on hand to offer advice on wildlife-friendly gardening and sustainable living.

The event's being sponsored by Wessex Water, who are this year celebrating 20 years of a joint project with WWT and others to restore Wiltshire's chalk streams.

WWT will be holding its annual AGM and Volunteer Awards on the same day as Country Comes To The City in the Crown Court Room in the Guildhall.
