Visitors to Salisbury injured in catapult attack

A man and a woman were injured in Malthouse Lane.

The pair were walking towards City Hall and the Playhouse between 4.50pm and 5pm on Sunday (20th October 2019) when a man is believed to have shot at them with a catapult. 

The woman sustained injuries to her chest and bottom while the man sustained a cut above his eye which required medical attention.

Police say they have no reason to believe this incident is linked to the ones in Downton and Woodfalls recently.

APPEAL

The suspect is described as aged between 18 and 21 and was wearing a green camouflage jacket with fur on, wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a baseball cap.
