An 18 year old driver has died following a crash between his VW Golf and an HGV lorry.
This happened at around 5.15pm yesterday evening (Saturday 9th November) at Furze Hedge.
The Volkswagen was travelling westbound along the A303, at the junction with the A350.
It collided with a DAF lorry coming in the opposite direction.
The 18 year old involved, who's from Somerset, died at the scene.
The driver of the HGV wasn't injured.
Sad end to a very busy day as our HRU supports Shaftesbury’s Pump & Pump Ladder at an RTC on the A303.
