Police are classing what happened at the Haunch of Venison as criminal damage.

This happened just after midnight on Friday November 1st, with officers just releasing the details.

A man's thought to have gone upstairs in the Minster Street pub looking for the toilets.

He's then urinated around the restaurant area, which was empty at the time, causing damage to a chair and cushion, as well as affecting the floor and a window.

The cost of the clean-up and a replacement chair is estimated to be around £200.
