Teenager who died in A303 crash with HGV named

18 year old Jasper de Pelet died after his car collided with a lorry on Saturday night (November 9th).

The accident happened near the junction of the A350 at a location known locally as Furze Hedge.

The teenager from Templecombe in Somerset died at the scene.

Wiltshire Police say Jasper's family have asked for privacy to grieve.


Jasper's VW golf was travelling westbound along the A303 when it collided with a DAF articulated Heavy Goods Vehicle, which was travelling in the opposite direction.

Police were called to the scene at 5.15pm.

The road was closed for five and a half hours.

Officers have appealed for anyone who witnessed the crash, or who has dash cam footage to get in touch.
