BUS CHANGES AND SHUTTLE RUNS

Salisbury Reds is putting on free shuttle buses to and from the city centre for people wanting to go to the light switch on.

They'll start from all five park and ride sites - Beehive, London Road, Britford, Wilton and Petersfinger - from 4.30pm.

Services will run every 30 minutes from 4.30pm, and then every 15 minutes from 6.00pm.

Buses will return to the park and ride sites every 15 minutes from 7.30pm to 9.00pm.

Due to the road closures, some of the bus stops normally in Blue Boar Row will be affected.

Here's where the temporary bus stops will be set up:

WHO'S TURNING ON THE LIGHTS

It was announced earlier this week that Molly Fisher, trustee for Salisbury charity Encircles, had been chosen to switch on the city's Christmas Lights.

Encircles is a homelessness, loneliness, isolation and poverty alleviation charity.

Molly was chosen after the City Council 'gave people the opportunity to nominate a deserving person or group who's made a positive difference to their community'.
