The English Chocolate Company opened it's doors once again on Saturday.

In the summer, the store towards the end of the high street was closed for renovation work.

Some people thought the shop had closed permanently, but fast forward a few months and they have now re-opened their chocolate shop and tea room just in time for Christmas.

The interior has been updated and they now have a brand new team of workers who will be running the shop over the festive season and beyond.

Andrew Stott, National and International Operations Director, told Spire FM

"We're bringing back our artisan, bespoke chocolatier store as after the Christmas period last year we know the product is good and people in Salisbury love it.

We've gone through a period of renovation where we shut the shop and re-did it, fitted it out and made it really really nice so we've just re-opened it but people have been knocking on the door for the last few weeks.

We're really excited about the future and the plan is to be opened for the forseeable future."

The store hope it will be business as usual.
