Salisbury parkruns fall victim to flooding again

Organisers have been forced to cancel this weekend's events because of the wet weather.

A course inspection this morning (Friday 27 Dec) has ruled that the floodwater in Churchill Gardens is still too high.

That means tomorrow's Salisbury parkrun (Satuday 28 Dec), which would have been attended by hundreds of runners, will NOT go ahead. It's the third consecutive Parkrun to have been cancelled.

DISAPPOINTMENT FOR SALISBURY PARKRUN

The Christmas Day Salisbury parkrun had already fallen victim to the ongoing soggy conditions, and last Saturday's run was also cancelled.

JUNIOR PARKRUN ALSO CANCELLED

The Salisbury Junior parkrun on Sunday (28 Dec) has also now been cancelled due to the worsening conditions in Churchill Gardens.
