On the 25th December two boys and two girls were born at Salisbury District Hospital.

Baby Ethan became the first new life brought into the world at Salisbury District Hospital on Christmas Day. 

His mother Charlotte gave birth at around 01:55am with her son weighing 6lb 5oz. 

At 9:42am the first girl was born, another boy arrived at 10:13pm while a final girl was here at around 11:39pm. 

Kim Melbourne, Deputy Head of Maternity and Neonatal Services said:

"It is always special for us when a new baby is born, but it does feel extra special to help welcome a baby into the world on Christmas Day! Congratulations to all our proud patients."

More than 2300 babies are born at Salisbury District Hospital each year.
