The tea and coffee specialist is leaving the city after more than twenty years.

The official last date of trading for the Butcher Row store is the 17th of January.

Posters announcing the company's departure have been displayed in the shop's windows.

The signs say our nearest stores will soon be Southampton and Portsmouth

Whittard of Chelsea has undergone a period of downsizing in the last decade after being brought out of administration in 2008.

ALL CHANGE FOR BUTCHER ROW

In August 2019, The Yorkshire Roast Co in the historic street closed.

Patisserie Valerie also closed its doors in 2019, after the company went into administration.

Stones Kitchen Cafe then opened within that building at 24 Butcher Row.

A second cafe is set to open on the street shortly in the former Vodafone store.

A planning application has been submitted for the Pick Up Cafe to open on Butcher Row in Salisbury.
