Salisbury purse theft: CCTV pictures released

Police have given us images of a woman they'd like to speak to after a shopper in her 70s was targeted.

The theft happened back on Monday 14th October, with officers telling us they've been carrying out extensive enquiries since then.

They've now put out the CCTV images and are asking for our help to identify the person pictured.

WHAT HAPPENED? 

The victim was shopping in Salisbury's Marks and Spencer in the Old George Mall when she noticed her shopping bag had been taken from her trolley.

That bag contained her purse with cash and cards inside.

One of the cards stolen was later used to withdraw cash from an ATM and to buy a train ticket.

There was also an attempt to buy items from a city jewellers, but the transaction was rejected.
