Teen driver banned for two years for drink driving in Amesbury

The 18 year old from Figheldean was THREE TIMES over the legal limit.

The teenager was stopped by police in the early hours of the 15th of December on London Road.

He appeared before Salisbury Magistrates on Friday (10th January) and was found guilty of drink driving.

He's been handed a 24 month disqualification, required to complete 80 hours unpaid work, pay a £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

SALISBURY MAN ALSO BANNED 

A 53 year old from Bishopdown has also been disqualified from driving for 18 months after pleading guilty to drink driving.

He was caught driving erratically on the A30 at Laverstock on the 12th December more than double the legal limit.

Officers described him as "heavily intoxicated."

He was also ordered to pay £85 in costs and £38 in victim surcharge.
