Salisbury man jailed for shoplifting offences

The 40 year old targeted a number of businesses around the city.

David Perry, from Bernard Street, appeared before Swindon Magistrates yesterday (13th January) charged with seven shoplifting offences.

Stores targeted include:

  • BP Garage in Downton Road where alcohol was stolen
  • Smyths Toys where Lego worth £200 was taken
  • Waitrose in Churchill Way where around £200 worth of whiskey was stolen.

Perry was sentenced to eight weeks in prison.
