Four engines sent to house fire in South Newton

Two from Salisbury, one from Wilton and one from Fordingbridge attended the incident earlier today.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue service were called to a property in Warminster Road, South Newton at around 5:20pm. 

Four engines were sent as a fire started on the first floor of the property and quickly spread. 

It happened on the main Warminster Road through South Newton

There was no one inside the house when the fire broke out. 

Three hose reels, six breathing apparatus and one safety jet were used to put out the fire and protect the neighbouring properties.
