Griffin School, on Castle Road, was broken into earlier this month.

Sometime on Wednesday the 8th January, an offender(s) gained entry into the school via the rear window.

When staff came to open up, they found footprints nearby and heard a noise which they believe could have been the offender(s) still at the scene.

Sadly, the school has been targeted again

It doesn't appear anything was stolen.

Anyone with any information on this incident should call Police on 101 and quote crime reference number 54200002174.

TARGETED AGAIN

It's not the first incident to happen at the school, with two minibuses being stolen back in September, causing the building to be closed for a day.

The school had to be closed for a day after the incident

MAN CHARGED WITH PREVIOUS INCIDENT

As reported on Spire FM earlier this month, local man David Clift was arrested and charged with multiple burglary offences.

One of these relates to the minibus theft from Griffin School around 4 months ago.
