New Paultons Park attraction getting ready for May opening

Tornado Springs is still set for it's May 19th launch after work has been ongoing over the winter.

Paultons Park are saying it is their most ambitious project to date, with eight new rides and experiences as well as a new restaurant and playgrounds. 

It's all themed around a 1950's deserted resort town in America's Midwest, which has recently been hit by a tornado.

The park has been closed for winter and they have been undertaking a lot of work to get their new rides ready, they include: 

  • Buffalo Falls
  • The Storm Chaser
  • The Rio Grande Train track
  • Jesse's Route 83 Diner
  • Al’s Auto Academy - Driving School
  • Cyclonator gyro swing ride
  • Parking Lot Tots Playground

Paultons Park re-opens for half term on the 15th February and Tornado Springs will then be open to the public from the 19th May.

All the work has been done in the winter break but they say they still have lots more to do across the park including hosing down of rooftops, cleaning of signage, replacement of mechanical parts to gardening, planting, animal feeding and stocktakes.
