A property on Down View Road in the village was broken into.

In the half an hour between 9am and 9:30am on Wednesday 29th January, unknown offenders gained access to the flat.

They stole a PlayStation and a Now TV box within the 30 minutes that the property owner had left the premises and came back.

Police are now hoping someone might have seen something suspicious in the area at the time.

PC Ben Foster said:

"The occupant was only out of their property for half an hour, so who ever gained access to the flat did so very quickly and may have been in the area before the crime was committed.

Did you see anyone acting suspiciously in the area before or afterwards?"

Anyone who might have any information is being asked to call police on 101 and quote crime reference number 54200010035.
