The city's landmarks are set to be immortalised for gamers in the coming months.

The arrival of Salisbury MONOPOLY follows a contest between 20 UK cities to find where the next board will feature.

What we don't know yet is which places will be on the squares - so suggestions will be needed for the game's makers.

We'll soon be able to 'pass go and collect £200' closer to home!

Salisbury Cathedral and Stonehenge are the most obvious choices.

There could also be spaces for landmarks like Salisbury Guildhall, the Racecourse, the Playhouse and who knows, maybe even Spire FM!

We'll be able to have a go at Salisbury MONOPOLY later this year

It's due to become available to buy from October.

Bringing out the Salisbury MONOPOLY this year also ties in nicely with the city's 800th anniversary in 2020.

Mayor of Salisbury John Walsh has said it's 'fantastic news' for the city:

"As an avid player of MONOPOLY with my own children, I am looking forward to introducing the official Salisbury version to my 11 grandchildren two of whom live in the city."

Where in Salisbury do you think would look best on the MONOPOLY board?

There'll be a 'chance' (see what we've done there!) to help choose the locations that we think should be featured on the board.

Voting will be open for two weeks for us to make suggestions.
