For the second weekend in a row bad weather has forced organsiers to pull the children's event.

The team of volunteers had been hoping the weather might improve enabling the popular 2K event in Churchill Gardens on Sunday to go ahead.

However levels are rising in the River Avon which boarders the park and with the continuing risk of falling debris organisers have decided to cancel.

Moors Valley junior parkrun is also off.

Last weekend saw several large branches and trees come down in Churchill Gardens.

Meanwhile  the popular charter market in Salisbury also had to be cancelled.

Salisbury City Council have apologised but hope people will understand given the bad weather.

Meanwhile a number of workshops, due to take place this weekend have been moved.

The Half Term Craft Willow Workshop will now take place on Monday 17 February and the Clay Birds & Nests Workshop will now take place on Saturday 22 February.
