Roadworks have been set up on the A345, close to Old Sarum Castle.

They're being done by Wessex Water, to repair a 'partially collapsed sewer'.

Engineers are having to dig 2 metres down to get to the pipework.

That means the northbound side of the road, towards Old Sarum, has been closed.

Two way temporary lights have been set up to manage traffic flow.

The roadworks are expected to be completed by Tuesday 25th February.

There's also a lane closure further down Castle Road, between the Butts Road junction and the Castle Roundabout.

One of the southbound lanes has been shut for emergency gas repairs.

SGN say that work is likely to last until 25th February.
