A planning application for over 100 homes was submitted for land near to Rowbarrow and Salisbury District Hospital.

We have until midnight tonight (Thursday 20th February) to make our comments on the proposed housing estate.

Bellway Homes submitted a planning application for the site in January to build 92 houses and 16 flats just off Odstock Road.

It will also include:

  • 270 parking/driveway/garage spaces
  • A new publicly accesible park
  • A row of street trees to "provide a layer of visual screening" from the road
  • Access from Odstock Road

As part of the new development, a possible 43 of the 108 homes will be made available as affordable housing.

They also say it will create 304 jobs as a result of the proposed development.
