Wiltshire Police say they're 'concerned for the safety' of a man seen in the water at Churchill Gardens this morning.

We're told he was seen swimming in the floodwaters near Wiltshire College at around 9.00am today (Friday 28th February).

Officers are looking to trace him to make sure he's OK.

In a statement, they've said:

"We're urgently trying to identify the man pictured. The current is very strong and although we believe the man may be an experienced swimmer, we have serious concerns about his safety."
