CORONAVIRUS: 57 cases in Hampshire as Wiltshire remains at 7

Public Health England has released the latest confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Hampshire has seen another significant rise, up from 44 yesterday (14th March) to 57.

Those cases are broken down by local authority and are correct as of 9am today (15th March):

Meanwhile in WILTSHIRE the number of cases remain at seven.

UK INCREASE:

Across the UK there are now a total of 1,391 cases with 35 deaths..

A shift in testing for Covid-19 was announced by the Chief Medical Officer for England last week.

Those in hospital care, or requiring admission, for pneumonia or acute respiratory illness are now a priority.
