Two Salisbury secondary schools closed to some year groups

The move is part of contingency plans for Covid-19.

Wyvern St Edmund's says it doesn't have have enough staff to run the school as normal with Year 9 pupils told to stay at home.

Meanwhile Year 9 and 10 students at  St Joseph's Catholic School are being told not to attend.

Pupils from Years 7, 8 & 11 should attend school as normal.

Parents have been informed via text message and the information is also on the school's website
