Covid-19: Chapel Nightclub in Salisbury to close

The Milford Street venue says they're making changes in response to the coronavirus outbreak.

In a statement posted on their social media they've said decision have been taken following Government advice.

They've said: 

"We place our customers' safety at the forefront of our mind and we feel it's best to take temptation away from mass gathering in the centre of town."

They've also said that they'll make further decisions on a week by week basis.

The statement finishes with a message to customers: 

"Please everyone take care, stay safe and listen to what the professionals are advising. See you soon."

OTHER ACTIVITIES CANCELLED

Southampton's Mayflower and Salisbury City Hall have also had some performances affected.
