More Salisbury shops supporting the elderly

Some stores in the city are opening for certain times to help them do their shopping with less hassle, during the coronavirus outbreak.

Iceland and Boots are the latest shops in Salisbury to have specific visiting times for the elderly and vulnerable. 

The Boots store on Silver Street are opening at 8am, just for people over 60. 

This is half an hour earlier than their usual times.

Meanwhile, Iceland on Castle Street has followed suit from some of it's other stores by having dedicated shopping hours.

On Wednesday (18th March), from 9am-11am, they are only inviting people of state pension age to come in.

It follows Nationwide branches across the country opening early to support the elderly
