Salisbury City Council: Events CANCELLED due to Covid-19

The authority says the Charter Markets will run as normal though.

The City Council's announced plans to call off all of their planned events up until the end of May.

That will include the following: 

  • French Market - Friday 27th March
  • Car Boot Sundays - Sunday 19th April and Sunday 17th May
  • Salisbury Street Sellers - Sunday 5th April and Sunday 10th May
  • Teenage Market - Saturday 4th April
  • St George's Day - Sunday 26th April
  • Car Fest - Sunday 3rd May
  • Street Food Monday - Monday 25th May

Last year's Salisbury Car Fest was hugely popular - and the City Council are hoping to reschedule for later this year

CHARTER MARKET STILL ON

The stalls set up each Tuesday and Saturday will remain operating as normal.

The City Council say that's 'to give people the chance to pick up their weekly essentials'.

In a statement, the authority's said: 

"We are very disappointed to cancel these events and apologise to everyone who is affected by these changes."
