They are trying to give back to them due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The Salisbury Pret A Manger store are offering NHS workers free hot drinks and 50% off everything else

Many of their staff are under pressure as the situation around COVID-19 in the UK develops.

All Pret shops across the country are offering this as they want to say thank you for everything they are doing.

Lorraine Hewitt, a nurse, who lives in Woodfalls has praised the company:

"Only ever been in a Pret once or twice in my life but will make them my coffee house of choice in the future - this support for the NHS is wonderful and even if we don’t actually take up the offer, it is nice to know that there are people/businesses out there wanting to show their backing and support for NHS staff. Thank you Pret."

All of their cafes are now also takeaway only, with customers unable to sit instore.

In a post on social media, they said:

"Now more than ever, you need to be able to pick up freshly made food quickly. From today, we will be operating mainly as a takeaway business. We will continue to reinforce our strict hygiene standards and do all that we can to look after our team members and all of you."
